Perfect for a busy weeknight, this one pan spaghetti dish has grains, vegetables, meat, and dairy. Enjoy it with a side of fruit.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Ground beef lean
  • 1 piece(s) Onion chopped
  • 3 cups Water
  • 15 tbsp Tomato sauce, low-sodium
  • 2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 16 cup Spaghetti noodles broken
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Brown meat and onions in a large skillet over medium-high heat (300 °F in an electric skillet). Drain fat.
  2. Stir in water, tomato sauce, and spices; bring to a boil.
  3. Add spaghetti, cover pan, and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.
  4. When spaghetti is tender, top with grated cheese.
  5. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
