Ingredients

  • 30 tbsp Fresh ginger
  • 1 piece(s) Fresh orange
  • 1 tsp Cloves
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon stick
  • 3 tbsp Black tea
  • 42 g Honey or maple syrup
  • 500 ml Drinking water
  • 1 tsp Rosemary or mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the ginger, then slice it thinly.
  2. Wash the oranges; slice about half into thin rounds, and squeeze the rest for juice.
  3. Add drinking water to a small pot, add the ginger slices, cloves, and a cinnamon stick; bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low and simmer for a while.
  4. Add black tea and simmer briefly, then remove it.
  5. Pour in the orange juice and stir well.
  6. Turn off the heat, add honey or maple syrup to taste, and stir until fully dissolved.
  7. Strain out the spices, then pour into cups and garnish with orange slices and rosemary or mint leaves.
