Ingredients

  • 1 cup Garbanzo beans, low-sodium
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 2 piece(s) Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt, plain, non-fat
  • 1 cup Lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro chopped

Instructions

  1. Drain and mash garbanzo beans in blender, food processor, or with fork. Add remaining ingredients.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Chill one hour or overnight.
  4. Serve on crackers or tortilla chips. Promptly refrigerate leftovers.
